Kyla Pearson is an Italian-Canadian Creative Entrepreneur who primarily serves as a Graphic Designer, Digital Marketer and Professional Writer for country music, film & TV.
Often described as being a “force of nature”, she is quickly becoming a sought-after name in the music, film & TV industry across the globe. In the country music industry, she’s worked alongside artists such as Calgarian pop-country artist Crystal McGrath, whose single Game On (2020) was in the top 40 charts on Sirius XM CBC Country and in rotation on CMT & MTV Australia, as well as Canadian country artist Greg Rider, whose recent single, “Sixteen Sticks” paid tribute to the Humboldt Broncos 2018 bus crash victims (and part of the first month of proceeds went to Canadian families in need).
In November 2020 she ventured into the world of songwriting. She’s co-written with some of the most promising talents in the Canadian country music scene as well as across the United States. Her songwriting led her to the Calgary Songsmiths, in which she was actively involved as a songwriter and a member, as well as working alongside the executive team via a sponsorship campaign she devised at her former day job. However, her true calling lied in capturing the stories and experiences of country artists via music journalism. In December of 2020, she started an inclusive platform under her own name, with the aim of supporting both independent and signed country artists (And related genres) through her writing as a budding music blogger & journalist. In the first five months, she’s secured a readership in 37 countries across the globe, a collaboration with Atlanta’s Cougar Country Radio station and has covered more than 50+ artists across the globe, including Chase Rice, Jimmy Allen, Tebey & NEEDTOBREATHE’s recent single. “I Wanna Remember” Ft. Carrie Underwood. By the end of 2021, she has featured hundreds of artists and connected with many more.
In film & TV, she’s worked alongside industry greats & well-established studios such as Don Carmody Television Inc., headed by multiple award-winning & Emmy-Award nominated producers Don Carmody (The Boondock Saints) & David Cormican (Shadowhunters, Northern Rescue), under which she worked as a graphic designer on numerous released and upcoming film & television properties, including the family drama series for CBC & Netflix Northern Rescue (2019) starring William Baldwin, Kathleen Robertson and Amalia Williamson, the to be released hit teen vampire TV series House of Night based on the novels by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast and the upcoming televised mini-series Escape From Plauen based on World War II memoir by Renate Stoever.
